Lianghe County is located in the west of Yunnan Province and the northeast of Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture. It is adjacent to Tengchong County in the northeast, bordered on Longling County in the southeast, connected to Luxi City and Longchuan County in the south, and close to Yingjiang County in the west. The town of Zhedao in the county is 690 kilometers away from Kunming, the provincial capital, and 114 kilometers away from Mangshi, the capital of the autonomous prefecture.

Airline

There is an airport in Luxi City of Dehong prefecture. Local people call Luxi as Mangshi and the Mangshi Airport is 6.5km away from downtown Mangshi. There are 1-2 flights to and from Mangshi and Kunming every day. Tourists usually come to Dehong by transferring from Luxi, after arriving at Luxi, they will go to Lianghe County.

Highway

National road 320 passes through Dehong Prefecture and extends to Ruili and Nongdao, connecting all cities and counties in the prefecture.

The road mileage from Kunming to Mangshi is 827km. Every day, there are sleeper buses and high-speed buses in Kunming coach station to Mangshi.
